70s Serendipity 3 Hand Drawn Denim Maxi Dress

Incredible hand made 1970s hand drawn denim dress by the world famous Serendipity 3 line out of New York City.

Of course everyone knows the iconic restaurant with their famous frozen peanut butter hot chocolate but what’s lesser known is that during the 1960s and 70s, the restaurant had its own boutique with hand made clothing by its owner Stephen Bruce and friends - even Andy Warhol got in on the action, creating a pretzel patterned dress for the shop. Many of these designs are now housed in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This amazing dress is made from light colored heavy weight denim and features a deeply notched neckline, front breast pockets and pagoda sleeves. Whimsical hand drawn garden scene signed by Eva Seidman, 1974.

Excellent, perfectly broken in vintage condition.
